MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

A proper preventative maintenance program is required to maintain the equipment in proper and safe operating condition. Periodic, scheduled, preventative maintenance visits by licensed technicians are required to conduct necessary cleaning, lubricating, adjusting and minor repairs to ensure that your lift or elevator is kept in proper operating condition. Preventative maintenance will extend the life span of your equipment and minimize costly service work not covered by warranty or maintenance.

Unlike many other elevator-providers in the region, Kirkwood Elevators is licensed and registered with the provincial authorities for elevating devices in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, the Yukon, and the N.W.T. These licenses act to ensure that we perform each and every installation to the highest standards of safety and quality. Many elevator-contractors do not hold a valid BCSA license or manufacture and install to current codes; always ask your elevator-contractor to confirm in writing that they are licensed with your provincial authorities and that their equipment, installations, and repairs meet all applicable standards and codes.
